GoldCoast Dining

Brian and Patricia Mossop

YOU are spoilt for choice when it comes to Gold Coast restaurants - and we should know. We have been writing Gold Coast restaurant reviews for the Gold Coast Bulletin newspaper for many years.

There are terrific dining precincts at Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Main Beach's Tedder Avenue, Coolangatta, Kingscliff and the Mt Tamborine hinterland. But beyond the obvious, dedicated chefs create culinary delights to tease and satisfy the tastes of all. So it pays to search out the smaller, off the beaten track restaurants as well. Use the online restaurant search engine on this page to help you or check out Wednesday's Bite magazine in the Gold Coast Bulletin for more Gold Coast dining information.

With some 600 cafes, coffee bars and restaurants to choose from, the quest for the best cuisine can be enjoyable and never ending. Check out some of our more recent Gold Coast restaurant reviews below.

And while you're enjoying the food, don't forget to ask for some local Gold Coast wine. (If you're an overseas visitor booking your restaurant reservation, always ask if the establishment is BYO. That means Bring Your Own and allows you to buy your own wine from a bottleshop and have the restaurant serve it to you at the table. It's an Australian thing.)

And for a bit of online fun, check out a couple of crazy Queenslanders overseas at Crash Test Kitchen.
